Hair extensions do not damage your natural hair. The only thing to keep in mind is that they need proper application and care. Before choosing extensions, it’s important to do your research and select the type that suits your hair and lifestyle. When applied correctly and maintained well, hair extensions are completely safe and harmless.
Since Hair Excellence extensions are made from 100% real human hair, they can be colored just like your natural hair. However, we strongly recommend avoiding lightening or bleaching the extensions. The hair has already undergone professional coloring, and additional bleaching is a harsh chemical process that can weaken the strands, reduce durability, and increase the chances of tangling.
Remember that sleeping with your extensions on can shorten their lifespan and damage your scalp and natural hair. To keep your extensions in good condition, remove them before bed. Additionally, avoid sulfate- and alcohol-containing shampoos at all costs to maintain the extension's health and hydration. Make sure you use the right conditioner for hair extensions.
The duration of your extension is dependent on several factors:
Natural hair extensions, such as those sold by hairorignals, will outlast synthetic hair extensions in the long run.
A year is a reasonable expectation for the duration of a permanent extension, given proper maintenance and use. When not in use, hang them straight, use the correct product, and do not bleach them
Many factors determine whether hair extension removal will create damage, like the type of hair extensions and the quality of the extensions you use. For example, hair extensions from hairorignals use specific glue that does not damage your natural hair. You should permanently remove your extensions before sleeping since sleeping while wearing extensions can reduce their life expectancy. Also, if attachments are removed carefully and cautiously, the chances of damage are minimal.
